This site is a companion to the book The CEO's Talent Manifesto: Align Talent Investments to Achieve Targeted Results by Chip Cleary and Tom Hilgart.
The book provides a systematic methodology for how L&D organizations can enable their companies to manage their investments in learning as systematically as they manage their other investments. We call this methodology "Aligned to Business" (or "A2B").
This site provides helpful practices and tools, including:
- Documents: Formats for key documents that L&D organizations can use to manage learning investments, e.g., an Learning Investment Portfolio
- Guides: How to conduct a particular task, e.g., facilitating an annual workshop to prioritize potential investments
- Policies: Guidance to simplify how to under which BEMs operate, such as costing standards
